MPC8541ECDS: Customer Development System for MPC8541E
The MPC8560ADS board is designed to aid hardware and software developers ofthe PowerQUICC™ III family by providing an evaluation platform for MPC85XXderivatives in the 783-pin FC-PBGA package. The MPC8560ADS board supports theMPC85XX processors.
The MPC8560ADS board has 64MB of SDRAM attached to the 60x bus (soldered onboard) and an 8MB Program Flash SIMM (supports up to 32MB). The on-board interfacesinclude JTAG/COP, Dual UART, two 100/10-Base-T Fast Ethernets, and a 155 MbpsATM UNI with optical interface.
Using the ADS on-board resources and an associated debugger, developers areable to download and run code, set breakpoints, display memory and registers,and connect proprietary hardware via the expansion connectors. That code canthen be incorporated into a desired system with the MPC85xx processor.
