MCB950 Evaluation Board for NXP P89LPC952

The Keil MCB950 Evaluation Board is a versatile, flexible prototype board for the NXP P89LPC952 microcontroller family. It includes the Keil µVision LPC Development Studio which allows you to create and debug programs that you can program into the on-chip Flash ROM using FlashMagic.

The Keil MCB950 Evaluation Board includes several Philips P89LPC93x devices which provide a superset of the available LPC950 parts. Following is a complete list of LPC950 devices supported by the MCB950 Evaluation Board.

  • NXP (8051 Family) P89LPC952

Since the MCB950 includes LPC950 family superset devices, you can easily use the MCB950 to create application programs for any LPC950 device.

The MCB950 Evaluation Board includes the following components.

  • MCB950 Evaluation Board
  • µVision LPC Development Studio

The µVision Debugger which is part of the LPC Development Studio supports:

  • Accurate device simulation that covers the CPU and the on-chip peripherals
  • ISD51 In-System-Debugger that allows debugging using only an standard UART interface
  • via a 2-wire JTAG interface using the FS2 System Navigator (available as add-on from FS2)

The MCB950 Evaluation Board features the following board level components:

  • NXP P89LPC952 MCU
  • USB for power-supply and COM connection to UART0
  • Standard RS232 port for COM connection to UART1
  • Analog input via potentometer
  • Eight LEDs and Prototyping area
  • JTAG Debug Interface for FS2 System Navigator provides Debugging and Programming Interface
  • NXP 2-Wire Debug (via optional FS2 System Navigator)
