Xilinx® Virtex™-4 FX PCI Express Development Kit
The Xilinx Virtex-4 FX PCIe Development Kit provides a complete development platform for designing and verifying applications based on the Xilinx Virtex-4 FX FPGA family. Available in both FX60 and FX100 versions, the kit enables designers to implement embedded processor and RocketIO based applications with extreme flexibility using IP cores and customized modules.
The Virtex-4 FX PCIe system board is available with either the FX60 or FX100 Virtex-4 device (XC4VFX60-11FF1152 or XC4VFX100-11FF1152). The system board includes several high-speed serial interfaces to the on-chip RocketIO transceivers. These include an 8-lane PCI Express interface, two SFP module connectors, a serial ATA connector, a CX4 connector, and a general purpose SMA port. The board includes a full EXP expansion slot, providing a total of 168 high-speed, single-ended and differential user I/O. EXP modules can be easily added to the board for additional application specific functions. Other board features include DDR memory, Flash memory, 10/100/1000 Ethernet port, USB port, serial port, clocks, LCD panel, and much more.
