Support for the ARM and Cortex Processor Families
smxARM is the version of smx designed for the ARM and Cortex processor families. It has many features to facilitate ARM development, which are discussed below. smx® is an industrial-strength, hard real time kernel for embedded systems.
Prices start at $7,500 and include, unless otherwise indicated: Development kit, project development license, royalty free incorporation license for one developed product with up to 50,000 units produced, source code and 90 days of support.
Processors Supported
smxARM will run on any ARM7, ARM9, ARM11, Cortex-A, Cortex-R, and Cortex-M processor. Pre-integration with a wide range of ARM processors is the key to getting up and running quickly. smxBSP and startup code are available for the processors from Atmel, Cirrus Logic, Energy Micro, Freescale, NXP, Samsung, STMicroelectronics, Texas Instruments, and Toshiba.
