MPLAB ICD 2 Module ICD Interface USB and RS-232 Serial Cable - DV164007

The MPLAB ICD 2 (In-Circuit Debugger 2) allows debugging and programming of PIC®and dsPIC®Flash microcontrollers using the powerful graphical user interface of the MPLAB Integrated Development Environment (IDE),included with each kit. The MPLAB ICD 2 is connected to the design engineer´s PC using USB or RS-232 interface and can be connected to the target via an ICD connector.
The connector uses two device I/O pins that are shared between in-circuit debugging and In-Circuit Serial
Programming™.

This kit is the same as the DV164005 (The MPLAB ICD 2 module is a low-cost development tool that connects between the PC and the designers target board, allowing direct in-circuit debugging of a target PICmicro MCU or dsPIC DSC. Programs can be executed in real time or single step, watch variables established, break points set, memory read/writes accomplished and more. It can also be used as a development programmer. This kit contains the MPLAB ICD 2 module, an ICD interface cable and USB cable).The DV164007 has an additional RS-232 serial cable and a power supply.
