The boards also include several code examples to exercise different hardware features of the C8051F96x family (e.g., AES block, dc-dc converter, LCD driver, etc.). The examples are portable code modules which may be easily used as a starting point for customer code.
LCD boards are recommended for debug purposes during development even if the final design does not require integrated LCD. The UPPI-series evaluation cards are the engine of an MCU-based system – they contain an MCU, optional radio and minimal support circuitry.
