Development Kit Description

The KIT1725-MV78200, designed, developed and manufactured by Cogent Computer Systems, Inc., is a Flex-ATX form factor development kit based on a high performance, network oriented, Marvell Dual Core Superscalar Sheeva (ARMv5TE) System on Module (SOM).  It is designed to allow effective, quick to market software and hardware development. 

Includes CSB1725-MV78200 SOM module

Software and Tools

• Linux Board Support Package based on kernel 2.6.22.18
• U-boot  based on version 1.1.4

Network/USB/Serial Connectors

• Two RJ45 Ethernet jack connectors
• Four USB 2.0 high-speed host port
• 115.2kbps mini-USB-to-RS-232 debug serial port

PCIe/SATA/Expansion Connectors

• One PCIe x16 socket connected to Port 1 Lanes 4-7
  
• Two PCIe x1 sockets connected to Port 0 Lanes 0 and 1
  
• Two SATA connectors

Expansion Headers

• 40-pin header with I2C, SPI, and UART signals
  
• Easy access JTAG header for debug
  
• Front Panel header for mounting in any standard Micro-ATX enclosure

• USB A to mini-B cable
• 250W ATX power supply (not included)
