The TC2030-DEMO board demonstrates the footprints of Tag-Connect´s TC2030 family Plug-of-Nails(tm) cables. The board also serves as a USB-powered cable tester for TC2030-MCP and TC2030-MCP-NL cables, providing a Go/ No-Go test reult.

The boards default firmware scans through each of the wires in the cable at high speed checking for conductivity and short-circuits.

Also on the PCB is a capacitive touch pad and the board’s PIC18F2450 can be reprogrammed (using a TC2030-MCP-NL cable) to implement a simple touch-sense application. Firmware available from support@Tag-Connect.com

The bare PCB with no components loaded is also available as TC2030-DEMO-BAREBOARD and allows users to try out TC2030-MCP cables and footprints.

Requires a Mini-USB connection to supply power.
