Tag-Connect´s SPY-BI-TAG is an adaptor board that allows Tag-Connect´s Plug-of-Nails(tm) TC2030-MCP cables to be used with TI´s MSP430 FET430 debugger.

TC2030 cables have a tiny footprint (as small as 0.02 square inches) and require no mating header component on the target PCB. Instead they connect to a special footprint of holes and copper pads on the PCB and utilize high-reliability Spring-Pins to make a secure connection.

The SPY-BI-TAG board plugs directly into the FET430 and provides an RJ12 jack into which a TC2030-MCP or TC2030-MCP-NL cable may be plugged.

Also available are TC2050-IDC-430 and TC2050-IDC-NL-430 cables which plug directly into the FET and are compatible with all MSP430´s for both traditional 4-wire as well as SPY-BI-WIRE JTAG connections.
