RLink Standard » RLink-STD

RLink Standard providesunlimited programming of a full range of microcontrollers from 8-bit  32-bitfamilies and real-time debugging of applications while they run on the targetdevice. For 32-bit devices, debugging is limited to 32 Kbytes of code in Flash or RAM memory.

RLink connectsto microcontrollers mounted on an application or evaluation board via a range ofcommunication protocols including:

  • 20-pin JTAG for ARM® core-based devices

  • SWD connection for ARM Cortex-M3 devices

  • 14-pin JTAG for 8051 devices (uPSD)

  • STMicroelectronics´ SWIM connection

  • STMicroelectronics´ In-Circuit Communication (ICC)

It offers unlimitedprogramming of all supported 8-bit and 32-bit devices while driven by either thefree RFlasher7 programming softwareor the Ride7 integrated developmentenvironment.

The RLink Standard alsoprovides unlimited debugging of applications on supported 8-bit devices while driven from the Ride7 integrated development environment.Debugging of supported ARM core-based 32-bit devices is limited to 32 K bytes ofcode in Flash or RAM.
