Are You Developing Your Next Product With A New Silicon Architecture?
Developing products using a new architecture is not a trivial matter. A new architecture will probably require you to master at least some new tools. You may have to alter some of the fundamentals of your design methodology; you may have to modify or replace a quantity of legacy IP that was designed in an earlier tool environment. You'll need to answer questions such as:

  • Are sufficient tools available?
  • Are the tools that are available fully capable of taking advantage of the specific silicon features that interest me?
  • Is the underlying technology as mature as the technical and sales literature would lead me to believe?
  • How difficult is it to implement this technology in practice?
  • Are there other technologies that I need to consider?

FAE Support

Arrow has the industry's highest ratio of Field Applications Engineers (FAEs) to sales representatives, demonstrating our commitment to technical focus and total customer support. Our highly skilled FAEs receive continuous technical training from our supplier partners to ensure that they maintain best-in-class status in our industry. With years of hands-on design experience and engineering expertise, our FAEs provide personalized local support you can trust.

ArrowEDGE

ArrowEDGE is designed to give customer engineers exposure to our suppliers' latest innovative products and to provide a practical resource to aid in the design process. Three key elements form the foundation of this invaluable program.

  • Process. Three times per year, Arrow engineers and a select group of specialists participate in a technical forum to develop materials on cutting-edge products to present to customer engineering groups. This allows us to communicate to the engineering community concise information on new products from many different suppliers.
  • Toolset. Everyone knows the power of relevant, concise, and timely information. The ArrowEDGE product briefs and associated collateral are compiled to give you access to the industry's most pertinent product information.
  • Feedback. Closed loop feedback is given to suppliers, providing valuable "real world" information for suppliers and offering customer engineers an opportunity to be heard at the product level.

The Engineering and Design Services group offers a broad range of services to help Arrow customers navigate the design process and ArrowEDGE offers the best in engineering and technical leadership at the front end of the design cycle.
