The SH7606 is a high-end microcontroller which offers excellent cost performance. The SH7606 incorporates a compact 32-bit SH-2 core, featuring a maximum operating frequency of 100 MHz and high processing performance of 130MIPS.
The SH7606 includes 16KB of cache memory (4-way set associative type) and 4KBof internal RAM. The SH7606 includes peripheral functions such as a bus state controller that can connect directly to SDRAM, burst ROM and PC cards, as well as 3 channels of serial interface with FIFO and a 16-bit cycle timer. A host interface is incorporated, and in large scale systems with a main CPU, theSH7606 can operate as a sub-CPU. The SH7606 employs a small BGA package (13 mm ×13 mm) that helps minimize product size.
