The MCF5485.84.83,82.81,80 microprocessors are all members of the MCF548x pin compatible ColdFire family. They are based on the V4e ColdFire core and features multiple connectivity peripherals including Ethernet, CAN, USB, PCI and other serial interfaces. In addition, this device offers an encryption accelerator for secure communications in network connected control applications. This MCF548x family benefits from a comprehensive porfolio of development tools, services and software from Freescale and leading third-party tools developers.
