Product Overview:
The H8/36037 and H8/36057 Groups belong to the H8/300H Tiny Series and have an on-chip CAN ( full CAN 2.0B ) interface for use in in-vehicle equipment such as door modules and airbags. These devices combine Renesas´s high speed,0.35-micron process, together with sophisticated timers,asynchronous/synchronous interface, a 10-bit A/D converter and CMOS high-current I/O ports. A new 4-wire synchronous serial communication unit (SSU) simplifies communication with external devices such as EEPROM or sensors, and a sub-timer operated by internal RC oscillation is available for low power consumption (50µAtyp.) operation. LIN (Local Interconnect Network) support is also available. Itis ideal for use in in-vehicle equipment such as body control, airbags,air-pressure sensors and light control.
In addition, two F-ZTAT versions are available with flash memory that can be programmed and erased using a single power supply, enabling applications and calibration information to be rewritten on-board for shorter system development times.
A power-on reset and low-voltage detection function are also available as options. These new models can thus be used in products susceptible to fluctuation in the supplied voltage, such as battery-powered systems, and products requiring protection, enabling the number of external components to be decreased.
These devices may use the E8emulator to support an on-chip debugger interface.
