Founded in 1990, the German company dresden elektronik ingenieurtechnik gmbh is a leading provider of industrial electronic products and a full ODM service provider for development, serial production and test of industrial electronic devices and systems. The company offers the full range of hardware and software design, hardware prototyping, manufacturing services and high level support for product testing and product verification. dresden elektronik is a member of the ZigBee ® Alliance. Based on ATMEL’s AVR controllers and RF radio chips the company offers a variety of radio modules, development and evaluation boards for wireless solutions in accordance with the IEEE 802.15.4 standard for ISM and ZigBeeTM applications.

The company greatly benefits from the close connection between the development and manufacturing departments and with the expertise of the engineers extremely short development cycles for a short time-to-market with competitive, reliable and cost-effective products can be achieved.

The highly specialized manufacturing department can handle up to 300.000 components per day. Lot sizes up to 100.000 pieces can be realized. Both, SMT components and wired components can be assembled. The list of machinery comprises highest productively assambling machines and reflow, wave and vapor-phase soldering furnaces .

dresden elektronik is situated in the capital of saxony, the most important European location of semiconductor industry and information technology. Due to constant growth of the company, at the beginning of 2009 dresden elektronik moved to its new, larger and technology-oriented manufacturing building.
