TriCoreTM family supports operating systems such as Linux (real time application interface Linux included). The award-winning unified 32-bit TriCore architecture combines RISC, CISC and DSP functionality in a single chip. An advanced set of on-chip communication peripherals makes this microcontroller ideal for highly integrated applications such as programmable logic controller (PLCs), high-end drives, industrial field bus controllers and communication devices.
