The Stellaris LM3S5000 series, designed for Controller Area Network (CAN) applications, extends the Stellaris family with Bosch CAN networking technology combined with USB 2.0 Full Speed On-The-Go (OTG) or Host/Device. This introduction marks the first integration of CAN and USB On-The-Go or USB Host/Device capabilities with the revolutionary ARM® Cortex™-M3 core. 5700´s Featuring up to 2 integrated Controller Area Network interfaces, USB 2.0 Full Speed On-The-Go or Host/Device, 128K bytes of single cycle flash, 64K bytes of single cycle SRAM, and 50 MHz performance, the Stellaris LM3S5700 microcontrollers are perfect for cost-effective embedded control applications requiring industrial connectivity. Analog features in the LM3S5700 Series include up to 3 analog comparators and up to 8 channels of 10-bit ADC at up to 1M samples per second. In addition, the series features up to 8 PWM outputs and 4 inputs for fault conditioning, plus a quatrature encoder input for sophisticated motion control. Each microcontroller in the Stellaris LM3S5700 Family comes with a 32-ch DMA and includes the Stellaris Peripheral Driver Library (DriverLib) and Bootloader conveniently programmed in ROM. 5600´s Featuring an integrated Controller Area Network interface, USB 2.0 Full Speed On-The-Go or Host/Device, 128K bytes of single cycle flash, 32K bytes of single cycle SRAM, and 50 MHz performance, the Stellaris LM3S5600 microcontrollers are perfect for cost-effective embedded control applications requiring industrial connectivity.
