The history of Energy Micro has begun. We are on a long and hard journey, but are confident  and committed to making Energy Micro a success. The required development team is now on board, and our short and long term targets are crystal clear.

Our Mission

Energy Micro´s mission is to develop, market and sell the world´s most energy-friendly  microcontrollers, based on modern and powerful microprocessor architectures. We will create new innovations and techniques, work closely with leading partners and customers worldwide, and stay focused on our mission.

We have chosen the name Energy Micro for two reasons:

• We are energetic people.

The company is founded by experienced semiconductor professionals with previous experience from successful semiconductor companies.

Energy Micro® is the specialist in low energy microcontroller design. Features on the new EFM®32G microcontroller contribute to the ultra low energy consumption and include a 4x40 segment LCD controller running at less than 900nA, an 8-channel 12-bit 1M samples/sec ADC running at less than 200 µA, abrown-out detector running at less than 100 nA, a 32kHz real time counter running at 50 nA, and a Low Energy UART capable of 9600 bps at only 100 nA.
